About Mutual Aid
UVA Mutual Aid is a collective of members of the University community working to support students and their needs in times of crisis. By building new social relations within the University community, UVA Mutual Aid offers modest no-strings-attached grants to students. Its goal is a more equitable University where all students have their fundamental needs met. Since March 2020, Mutual Aid has distributed over $107,000.
Receive Assistance
UVA Mutual Aid is currently NOT accepting requests for monetary assistance as they collect aid for a future funding cycle. Once the form re-opens, you can fill it out through the button below.
Additional funding is available for students at risk of detainment, deportation, visa complications, or other international/citizenship complications. Please email studco-uva-mutual-aid@virginia.edu for assistance.
Donate to Mutual Aid
Donations are accepted through Venmo (@UVAMutualAid), PayPal, Zelle (uvamutualaid5@gmail.com) or via check.

FREE STORE GOFUNDME
UVA Mutual Aid has been able to care for our community for over a year now. As we broaden our vision & goals, next for us is to create a free store filled with clothes, healthcare products, etc available to everyone at UVA. Please donate if you are able to.
