Airbus

Airbus is a coach bus service that runs between Charlottesville, VA, Washington Dulles Airport (IAD), and Richmond International Airport (RIC). This bus provides transportation for students around UVA breaks and semesters.

Student Council Airbus is excited to continue providing transportation for all undergraduate and graduate students during the spring semester. Please purchase tickets as soon as possible before availability runs out. All outbound buses are expected to depart from UVA grounds at the McCormick Road UTS stop at the UVA Chapel, across from Shannon Library. Procedures

  • All passengers are required to check in at least 10 minutes before the departure time.

  • You will receive an email from Student Council prior to your departure date with more information.

  • It usually takes a little over two hours to get to Dulles International Airport from UVA, and 1.5 hours to get to Richmond International. Take this into consideration when planning your trips. 

  • There will be NO REFUNDS for any tickets under any circumstances. 

  • We reserve the right to cancel buses due to low sales. In this case, refunds will be issued. 

  • Every passenger can have one carry-on bag and one piece of luggage to put inside the trunk. We kindly ask students to load their own bags. 

  • All outbound buses are expected to depart from UVA Grounds at the McCormick Road UTS stop at the UVA Chapel, across from Shannon Library.

  • Based on demand, more dates may be added.
