Student Council Resources
As the decision-making body responsible for allocating the Student Activities Fee, it is Student Council’s responsibility to ensure that students and organizations have the resources they need to thrive at UVA. Below are just some of the ways we can help you and your organizations make the most of your time here! Resources for Students
The Accommodations Access Fund provides financial aid for emergencies and SDAC accommodations testing/support.
Airbus provides low-cost transportation to and from Dulles International Airport around breaks and semesters.
The Arts Fund provides financial support for student artwork each semester.
Through Cavalier Education, student can create and teach their own courses.
Cavalier Advantage grants provide $5 for laundry and printing.
UVA Mutual Aid provides no-strings-attached grants to students and operates a free store in the Student Council Office.
Student Legal Services provides low-cost legal assistance.
The Textbook Access Office provides textbooks to first-gen and low-income students.
Resources for Organizations
CIO funding resources, including SAF funding, diversity grants, and co-sponsorships.
SAF funding is available in multiple rolling rounds throughout each semester.
